As detailed here, the Gobot snippet will automatically be added to all of your store pages (except checkout). You can control where bots run by adjusting their URL under Bot Settings in bot build mode. By default, bots are set to run on any page. However, you can change this for each bot by configuring or excluding specific URLs.
If you need more customized control over where your bots run then you can choose the Manual installation method. In this case, the Gobot snippet will not be automatically added to any page on your store. Instead, you can manually add the Gobot snippet to specific pages as custom HTML and/or by editing your store's theme files.
Note that bots will follow their configured URL(s) under Bot Settings, regardless of the chosen installation method. If a bot is set to run on a specific URL but that page doesn't have the Gobot snippet then the bot will not load. Similarly, if a page has the Gobot snippet installed but there are no bots configured to run on that URL then no bots will load.
MANUAL INSTALLATION STEPS:
Click on the Settings (gear) icon in the vertical left hand navigation bar in Gobot and then click on Shopify under Services.
Next, click on Manual and click Save.
Finally, click Copy to clipboard to copy the code snippet on the bottom and then paste the Gobot snippet to specific pages as custom HTML and/or by editing your store's theme files.
